Through the services provided by the Support Group for Cyprus, a scoping mission has been facilitated with regards to the functional review of the three aforementioned Ministries. Four experts from the Irish Institute of Public Administration have undertaken a scoping mission during 15-19 December 2014.
The aim of the scoping mission was for the experts to familiarize themselves with the particularities of the said Ministries and their state owned entities, as well as with horizontal reform initiatives of the Government. During their visit they had meetings with the management and government officials of the said Ministries and their respective organizations/state owned entities, in order to exchange views and identify the major challenges which need further elaboration.
The deliverable of this visit is the submission of the Scoping Report which includes the preliminary observations of the experts.
