The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are widely recognized as a key horizontal factor for growth.
Consequently, the Government considers that the use of ICT in the public sector (eGovernment) should be implemented as a matter of priority in tandem with the Public Service Administration Reform, so that the necessary tools are developed that will significantly improve the government performance as well as the public service delivery, while providing transparency about the operation of government to the general public eGovernment is a key factor for reducing bureaucracy and operating cost, increasing productivity and providing faster services to citizens (24/7 services).
