Setting up the policy framework for the development of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The preparation of a National Entrepreneurial Policy Statement for the development of an integrated and growth oriented business ecosystem is underway, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MECIT). This will be growth- oriented, aiming at the enhancement of the entrepreneurial culture and strengthening and facilitating business activity, mainly in high value added sectors. In the context of the above initiative, the Working Conference “Reinforcing the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Cyprus” took place on the 25th June 2015, in the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia. Representatives of all the key stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cyprus as well as experts of the EC and other member states participated in the conference.
